Triax Environmental Engagement Programme

The Project will bring together community groups, Youth Groups, Schools and families to make a positive impact on local green spaces in Creggan, bogside, Brandywell, Fountain and Bishop Street. The Project will deliver a biodiversity programme within the Triax area, removal of invasive species in some areas, 300m native broadleaf hedgegrow, planting of bulbs and wildflower, fencing, creation of bird boxes, insect hotels, log piles and hegde grow homes throughout the Triax area. The Project will improve biodiversity and the physical environment within Triax. It will promote community pride and ownership.
