Trojans Cricket Club, Eastleigh – Practice Nets

Trojans Cricket Club are a medium sized, local community based club taking junior and senior players from a wide catchment area. They run 4 Saturday sides, play in a midweek cricket league and play Sunday friendlies and have approximately 150 junior cricketers. There are also a number of local schools, colleges and universities who use the facilities. The practice nets are now approximately 20 years old and do not conform to the present safety standards required by ClubMark (an ECB accreditation) and SportEngland. We therefore need to replace these outdated nets with a safe, modern alternative which will enable us to coach our junior cricketers safely and provide facilities for use by local schools and the community. There are no other publicly accessible nets in the local area. The LCF is as a contribution towards the two lane net facility with cage.
