Troon Walks

To upgrade signage, notice boards and leaflet provision along the Troon Walks. At present the signage is in very poor state and in most cases unreadable, leaflet information is out of date and almost non existant. Troon is a Seaside town that relies on Tourism in part to sustain itself. The walks will provide the initiative for people to come to the Town plus local people. This will encourage a number of possible initiatives, Healthy living, enjoyment and appreciation of the environment and from this better sustainability of the local environment through a reduction of vandalism. At this time there are five walks, all of different lengths each giving the history of Troon along the length of each. This has been designed to suit all ages and abilities.
