Trout from the Classroom to the Wandle

• To introduce brown trout to the River Wandle • To engage local school children with their local environment and teach them about the River Wandle, its unique habitat in London and the importance of brown trout for river ecosystem biodiversity • To give local school children the opportunity and experience of nurturing a wild animal and releasing it into its natural habitat • To encourage local school children, their families and the local community to value the River Wandle and look after it into the future.
