Tweed Invasives Project

An Invasives control project within the River Till (as part of the Tweed Invasives project). The aim is to control Himalayan Balsam, Giant Hogweed and Japanesse Knotweed within the Till.

The project is focused on the River Till between Coldstream and Wooler/ Wooperton

LTCS monies will be used to fund contractors to carry out control spraying and the provision of chemicalsfor the contractors and other trained users. The wider project will fund a proejct officer and work with landowners and the general public to raise awareness and encourage best practise.
