Twickenham United Reformed Church – Redevelopment of Premises for Community Use

We are aiming to redevelop the buildings of Twickenham United Reformed Church to create an environment that is fit-for-purpose to serve the needs of the local community. Although we have several organisations meeting on the premises, ranging from groups for small children to the Hearing Support Group, meeting rooms are dingy and damp with little comfort, and everywhere needs redecorating. We need to provide storage space for the organisations meeting on our premises; we had to turn down an application to house a nursery school, due to lack of adequate storage space. We are therefore undertaking major redevelopment to ensure that our buildings are at the centre of the local community and are inviting and accessible to all.
