Two Tree Island Nature Reserve -Essex Wildlife Trust, Proposed Improvements to Public Access & Wildlife Habitat Quality

i) To improve, manage and encourage public access to Two Tree Island Nature Reserve and to improve understanding about the biodiversity of the reserve, by the construction and maintenance of pathways and the provision of interpretative signage and a picnic area.
ii) To improve the wildlife environmerntal quality of specific areas of Two Tree island Nature Reserve by summer flooding the saline lagoon at the western end of the reserve, by selective mowing and felling to maintain and enhance areas of grassland and scrub, and by saltmarsh stabilisation work.
