Twynholm Community Garden

Twynholm Community Garden started as a Millennium project to bring a piece of derelict ground in the centre of the village into community use. A sensory garden and wildlife area have been ceated, along with features of interest. The local primary school and the community have been very involved in fundraising, managing and delivering the project. this application is towards the construction of a stone bridge over the stream with associated footpath, which will increase the site accessibility and make it ‘walk-through’ thereby keeping school children off the main road en route to school
