Ulverston Canal Regeneration Project

The Ulverston Canal Regeneration Project aims to transform the canal into a well-used public amenity and a dedicated site for recreation. The project will connect Ulverston communities and visitors to improved wildlife, celebrated heritage and recreational opportunities via a series of projects. Each project will bring new life and purpose to Ulverston Canal, transforming this underutilised asset for the benefit of many.

The scheme will cover four areas these being:

• Vehicle reduction
• Signage and interpretation
• Health and wellbeing opportunities
