Up Holland Methodist Church – Community Garden

The garden area at Up Holland Methodist Church will be improved to create a community garden.
One end of the garden space is currently overgrown with an old shed which is rotten and past it’s usable life. The project will remove the old shed and overgrown bushes/shrubs and lay a larger solid base to allow the erection of a much larger shed to solve the storage problems at church (eg. mini trampolines used by one of the user groups are presently pilled up in a corner of the hall reducing the available space for other groups).
At the other end of the garden the fence line will be re-positioned to enlarge the garden, overgrown bushes/shrubs will be removed and a flagged seating area with raised beds will be installed. The fence around the garden will be replaced and a new gate fitted. New drainage will be installed. The gate is never locked so anyone can access the area whenever they want to.
