Updating Film Screening Equipment for Mitchell Arts Centre

Mitchell Arts Centre is undertaking a project to upgrade its existing film screening equipment in order to introduce live streaming, which would give local communities access to high quality arts & entertainment, increase income to be reinvested into the charitable activities & projects increasing access to leisure & recreation opportunities, and increase the number of days the auditorium is used by the public. By live streaming we mean the installation of a satellite dish, decoder, film server, new screen surface and a sufficient audio system to enable us to provide local audiences with access to some the best national and international theatre, dance and opera, as well as other events such as sport and festivals.
