Upgrade and Development of Pitch and Facilities

In addition to being used by Kilbirnie Ladeside Junior FC, the pitch and facilities are also used by other groups and clubs for practice, training and matches and, unfortunately in recent months the club has had to decline their requests for use because of the current state of repair, especiallly in respect of flooding to the pitch.

As an integral part of the community, the club is keen to extend the use of its facilities for both social and sports purposes. Through a 2 stage planned upgrade, the club aims to encourage use of the ground for health and fitness activities and as a venue for local social events.

Stage 1 comprises of environmental drainage works and on-going maintenance of the playing pitch and stage 2 comprises of upgrading works to the spectator stand which will provide opportunities and work experience for unemployed people in North Ayrshire.
