Upgrade the Jacobs Well Play Area

The existing play area was constructed by the Parish Council in 1983. The Parish Council’s aim is to increase the amount of equipment within the limited space available which will not only greatly enhance the appeal of the play area, but most importantly, it will significantly increase its play value as well as enabling older children to enjoy this vital local facility. Families with children over a wide age range will benefit tremendously from the upgrade, as at present the play area only offers older children a flat seat swing or the roundabout. The new equipment will provide the following play value – rocking, climbing, sliding, swinging and rotating. The equipment is all-inclusive enabling able bodied and disabled children to play together.
