Upgrading, Refurbishing and Equipping the Tyneside Badminton Centre

Tyneside Badminton Centre (TBC) CIC is a Community Interest Company set up to provide a home for the badminton community in the North East. TBC are also committed to providing a range of other complimentary activities that serve the wider community. We taken over the existing Slatyford Play and Youth Centre from Newcastle City Council on a 25 year lease. The facility is 10 years old but was very under utilised and, in certain areas, neglected. The building requires refurbishment and equipping to help kick-start a variety of programmes to produce a sustainable, vibrant facility.
