Upham Recreation Ground Improvement Project

To move a telegraph pole and bury the cables underground – this would allow the widening of the existing pitch to meet standard league dimensions and remove the danger of overhead wires for those wishing to fly kites, model airplanes etc from the recreation ground. This would improve diversity of activity for local children and ensure the on-going viability of our local adult and junior football teams. It would also improve a visually beautiful space with far reaching views – which will be part of the South Downs national Park.
