Upon this Rock - Earth Science Project

To protect and enhance Regionally Important Geological Sites (RIGS) at No. 4 Thornhaugh Two and No. 6 Swaddywell Pit by creating and improving public access by employing an officer to co-ordinate the reclamation of derelict quarries and final restoration of active quarries to allow safe access for the general public to learn about geology and informal recreation.
