Projects / Uppingham CC Pavilion Rain Harvesting

Uppingham CC Pavilion Rain Harvesting

To harvest the rainfall on the new pavilion roof at the Uppingham Cricket Club (UCC) Leicester Road ground, and for this to be stored in an underground tank. This will maximise the use of rainwater as a resource without any further processing, which will reduce reliance on mains supply, and is therefore a more environmentally friendly solution for water consumption. The harvested water will supply water to flush toilets, and run the washing machine in the pavilion. Surplus water will be used to water the two cricket squares.
