Uppingham Grows

R.T.C.S Enterprise C.I.C requires kick start (capital funding) to deliver its NEW Uppingham Grows project based on Uppingham Town Councils Leicester Road Allotment Site. The money will allow them to develop and deliver a long term sustainable environmental and social enterprise.

Based on the Uppingham Grows allotment/s mentor/s will offer: Wellbeing and life progression services for adults with mental health issues and learning difficulties who have access to a range of support funding including Personal Budgets (PBs) and Personal Health Budgets (PHBs).
Services would include:
• A safe place to build confidence and wellbeing though growing and sharing local produce.
• Planting, nurturing and growing seasonal crops.
• Educating on environmental issues and healthy eating including making the most of seasonal fruit and vegetables.
