Aims are to build a stand alone extension to the existing youth club centre building.
The aims of the delivery that this new facility will enable are numerous and include – more than one user group to access the site at any one time – significantly increasing the potential audience. Access to all activities for people with disabilities is an essential part of the project.
The project will open up the riverside environment to a new audience, through healthy outdoor activities, like canoeing, and outdoor education. It will also ensure the future of the youth centre facility so it can continue to offer the youth support services for the community and all the proven benefits this delivers.
