UPTON VILLAGE SPORTS PAVILION

The 2005 Upton Village Plan identified a need for recreational facilities, particularly for children. This coincided with the Club’s 150 years anniversary celebrations.

After full consultation with villagers, 3 open meetings held and regular information communicated in the monthly newsletter, plans were formulated to create a children’s playground, a grassed area for alternative sport, a parking area and this new sports pavilion, it is for this building we seek financial assistance from Veolia ET. Having financed the site acquisition and perimeter works we now seek funding to build the pavilion, which effectively includes a Community Hall.

The whole village is very supportive of this project and as are the Parish Council, District Council, and County Council.
