Urban Buzz Plymouth

The aim of Urban Buzz is to improve the quality of the urban environment for pollinators through engaging people in the creation of pollinator habitat and raising the profile of pollinators by
i) Connecting pollinator rich habitats up across the city enabling the easy movement of pollinators through and within the city enhancing biodiversity for all compensating for the huge losses caused by recent expansion of the urban environment.
ii) Providing opportunities for the public to engage in the conservation of pollinators in their local area.
iii) Creating/restoring a range of habitat features for pollinators in urban areas.
iv) Increasing understanding of habitat for pollinators and how they are managed and maintained in the long term.
v) Celebrating pollinators in the urban environment and how people can get involved in pollinator conservation.
