Valley Walk – Fencing Project

The project involves providing secure fencing around the Valley Walk to remove the risk and occurances of fly tipping. The Valley Walk provides a link to countryside and has a public right of way running through it. The site links to a bridleway that was the original access road to Bredbury Hall and is well used by local people for walking, cycling and horse riding. Before the Valley Walk was developed there was a history of fly tipping and a general feeling of apathy towards the area. Now that the Valley Walk has been redeveloped and enhanced to encourage a feeling of pride and ownership within the community, the proposed fencing project will ensure the sustainability of the Valley Walk.
