Vauxhall Millennium Centre, Liverpool – Renovation (007016)

The Vauxhall Millennium Centre is a high profile community centre in the heart of an acutely disadvantaged community of Liverpool on the inner city fringe. The Centre has experienced neglect in recent years due to severe cuts to Local Authority budgets, meaning the building has been not updated since it was built at the turn of the century; as a result, the facilities and services available no longer meet the needs of the community.

The project aims to convert unused areas to create a Community ICT Suite, a Health & Beauty Training Facility, 3 mixed-use/meeting/training rooms and a break-out space. The redeveloping of the centre will address the need identified through community consultation, for additional training and community facilities for hire.
