Verwood Community Garden

Dorset Wildlife Trust would like to create a sensory, wildlife and education garden at the hub, a new community centre in the centre of the town of Verwood in Dorset. The Garden, open to all in the local community, would be wheelchair accessible and created in the shape of a spriral, with different sensory compartments, which would become projects for schools and community groups to look after. The garden would be created by users of the Verwood Opportunity Centre, for adults with learning or physical disabilities, have been working with Dorset Wildlife Trust on various conservation projects in the county but would now like to focus on improving a green space in their own town.
