Victoria Park, Pond Naturalisation

The project involves removal of existing concrete kerb style edges to part of the pond and reinstatement of a natural sloping earth shore to part of the pond. The water depth will be reduced in some areas by infilling and local provenance aquatic plants will be planted to provide cover and forage to encourage existing colonies of amphibians, waterfowl and invertibrates and attract new ones
