Victoria Park, Stretford – Community Hub

The project is to re-build FOVPS’s community building which was used by volunteers to run its Social Wellbeing Programme, Park Events, Sports and Fitness Club and Tearoom. Plans have been approved for a new-build comprising a Community Room, Tearoom, Storage, Workspace and Changing Places toilets. Funding is required towards the cost of SIP panels, which are the walls of the building.
FOVPS needs a building for meeting, work and storage space for its volunteers. It provides shelter and refreshments to people involved in park activity. No toilet facilities mean many people cannot use the park or are limited.
