Village Hall, Clarborough - New Floor (4811/D)

The project is for the replacement of a sprung pine planked floor with a new maple hardwood floor. The existing floor laid down in the 80's is now very rough despite sanding and re-varnishing. Its surface is breaking away mainly by the movement of chairs and tables but also by the groups such as scouts, cubs etc. The floor is softwood and was not really suitable for long term, intense use. The Trust grant will contribute towards the new floor.
