Village Hall Extension

The village hall is available for use more than 360 days annually and is used by the Association and also rented out to many regular and occasional users from the village and the surrounding area. The purpose of the extension project is to improve the ease of use for all users by enabling the storage of all the hall’s furniture on the same level as the main area of the hall, making it much easier to deploy and store. At the moment, the furniture is stored on the stage; so freeing the stage will facilitate the use of the stage by current and other users. The extension is at the rear of the hall; the extension will be made of similar materials to the existing structure, but more energy – efficient materials will be sued if possible.
