Village Hall Refurbishment Phase 1

Replace metal framed single glazed windows in main hall and meeting room with double glazed windows, thus saving energy and reducing heat loss.

Construction of permanent internal and external ramps to provide full accessibility to a meeting room.

Replacing the flat felted roof over the meeting room with a new pitched roof with insulation to meet current requirements.

Replace existing upvc rainwater fixtures, which are broken and leaking, with aluminium products. This will form an integral part of providing a robust sustainable system of collecting rainwater from the building, which will be recycled as water for toilet flushing.
