Village hall roof

Cosgrove Village Hall (CVH) is located in a small village located 14 miles north of Milton Keynes.

The building was constructed in 1991 and offers users a fitted kitchen, meeting room, main hall and toilets. Externally the site has an enclosed garden and a large car park.

The building serves a number of surrounding parishes, and weekly user groups include yoga, art, the Women’s Institute, table tennis, and band practice. The site is also used for a number of ad hoc events, and is available for private hire.

The hall roof has been in place for 33 years, and throughout that time ongoing general maintenance and patch repairs have been undertaken. However, ever present leaks are causing internal damage, and daylight can be seen from the loft. Patch repairs are now no longer effective due to the disintegrated roof membrane, and different tiles being used to complete repairs, as existing concrete clip tiles are increasingly difficult to obtain and are therefore a poor fit.
