Vision 2010 (Phase 1) Alteration & Refurbishment

A two phase project of modernisation & refurbishment of church, hall & facilities.
Phase 1 – concentrates on the main church building, converting the traditional style sanctuary into a multi purpose hall and meeting facility, which can be used by a large number of diverse community groups, other local churches, Parish Council, Age Concern, Weight watchers etc. Demand currently exceeds availability of such facilities. The project brings the building into use seven days a week.
Work includes, structural repairs to walls & roof, re-plastering, removal of pews & leveling of floor, installation of eco-friendly heating system, electrical re-wiring, updating audio-visual system and the conversion of the vestry into a creche facility.
Phase 2 – the construction of a new build single storey entrance foyer to improve disabled access, provide new disabled toilet facilities, coffe bar “Drop-in” facility, refurbish hall & meeting rooms and upgrade kitchen.
