Visitors Welcome at St Lawrence’s

At Lawrence’s Church was declared redundant in 1979 and is now an important heritage attraction in the town of Evesham. Following significant conservation and with a planned increased in visitors the Churches Conservation wants to install a welcome hub for volunteers welcoming visitors and providing information for event users. it will be a working area for event organisers for tickets/refreshments and for teachers with visiting schools. New signage will be installed. Volunteer numbers will increase up to 20 and visitors numbers will increase to 40,000 annually. We aim to increase the use of the venue by groups to 6 by 2016 and increase visitor income with a new donations box.
