Viva Arts and Community Group

The Viva Theatre is a community owned and run theatre, arts centre, cinema and multi-use community facility in Soham in Cambridgeshire, formerly known as Spencer's Mill. The energy crisis and soaring electricity costs are putting increasing pressure on the operation of the site. The project will install solar technology (panels,cables, inverters etc) on the roof of the building, to make the site much more environmentally friendly and sustainable. The project could save up to 45,800kWh per year of electricity and replace it with sustainable energy, and reduce costs for the organisation in the long term.
