Vulcan Football Club Grounds Maintenance Project, Vulcan Football Club, St Helens

This is a project to purchase grounds maintenance equipment for Vulcan FC in St Helens. Vulcan FC have taken a 25 year lease on a sports ground in Vulcan Village. This ground needs maintaining to ensure local children and adults can use it for football 12 months per year. Although the club was awarded the lease, it was not given the machinery required to ensure that the grounds are maintained appropriately, which is a condition of the lease. On the advice of Liverpool County FA, the club needs substantial funding to buy the appropriate equipment to look after the inner pitch and two outer pitches.
