Waddington Village Habitat Improvement and Access Project,

Waddington is a small village in the heart of the Ribble Valley. The project aims to enhance and improve two of the village’s amenities. The community gardens in the village has a number of paths that have suffered water damage and erosion over the years and are now at a stage where work is required to make them safe and enhance them for all access use. 90 mtrs of path will be repaired along with new benches and additional planting. Additionally, 100m of playing field boundary is to be planted with a native hedge row with new fencing and new benches installed. The playing field is the location of the village’s main carpark. The two locations are 5 mins walk apart but are very much part of Waddington village local amenities. A location plan is attached showing both locations.
