Wainsgate Baptist Chapel – urgent repairs

To undertake urgently needed repairs to this important grade II* listed redundant church that is on English Heritage’s “at risk” register. The works include repair of roof structure, renewal of rainwater goods and replacement of some windows. The church and adjacent school rooms are currently used to host a range of secular community events, including concerts and art exhibitions. Unless the proposed urgent works are undertaken, the building is likely to detiorate significantly and become unusable,
