Wall of Geology, Clophill Old Church, Bedfordshire

This project is to create a Wall of Geology to illustrate the rocks that occur in Bedfordshire. The Wall of Geology will be situated at the start of the Central Geotrail being developed by the Greensand Country Landscape Partnership. The Wall of Geology will be 3 metres long and constructed of rocks found in Bedfordshire. The oldest rocks will be placed at the bottom and the youngest at the top to mimic the geological strata that underlying Bedfordshire’s countryside.
