Wallasey Village United Reformed Church, Merseyside – New Community Space (005906)

This project will provide more space for community use, by adapting a larger part of the worship area so that it becomes available and suitable for use. At present the floor slopes from front to back by approximately 475mm. The plan is to flatten the floor, make good, and fit appropriate floor covering. Plans also include the provision of suitable access for the disabled, wheelchairs and prams and buggies. At the same time, essential repair and insulation work needed for the roof over the worship area, re-pointing and the provision of secondary glazing to windows will take place.
