Wallingford Accessible Boat Club Wheelyboat Project

The project will provide disabled people, wheelchair users and ambulant, with a brand new boating facility on the Thames at Wallingford engendering integration, self-reliance, freedom and independence. The Wheelyboat’s users will be able to enjoy the pleasures and scenery of Oxfordshire’s countryside and develop an awareness and appreciation of the river’s environment, flora, fauna and history from a unique perspective that until now has remained largely out of bounds.
