Wareham’s Saxon Walls Interpretation Boards

It is felt that if the history and nature conservation aspects of the walls of which only two survive in the country, are interpreted, displayed at suitable locations along the length of the walls as an exhibition within the Purbeck Information and Heritage Centre, and an update ‘walls walk’ leaflet, the community and our thousands of visitors alike, would have a more informed perception of the significance of the walls.
