Warmley Forest Park: Making the Connection: Phase 2 works – Siston Brook Path Improvement Works, South Gloucestershire Council

Warmley Forest Park: Making the Connection is an on-going project that will help to connect people to Warmley Forest park. The Siston Brook Path is a popular site path running along the side of the Siston Brook, much used by casual site users, dog walkers, local community groups and schools. High popularity has resulted in a poor, heavily poached surface at times of wet weather. Works will centre on improvements to the Siston Book Path, with the aim of improving accessibility along this path to the best standard possible. Works will centre on improvements to the path surface, with ramps and crossfalls re-graded and width restrictions resolved. Repairs to the bank will be completed where the bank has begun to collapse. Safety fencing will be constructed as required to meet health & safety requirements of path users. Two oak seat resting points will be supplied and installed.
