Wash Lane Common

Increase the prominence of Wash Lane Common from the motorway service area by replacing the existing sign with a new eye catching entrance feature. Replace the old interpretation board with a new one that will inform visitors of the short walks and facilities that are available at the Common. Provide extra seats and picnic tables to welcome visitors from the service area and install aggregate surface along existing grass paths to create short loop for walkers to use. General improvement to the habitats on the Common, clearing scrub, de-silting the pond as well as improved maintenance of the area to compliment the work achieved by the project.
