Water sparkles anew at Lakeview

To restore the Water vole populations within Coventry and Warwickshire through creating a verdant riverine habitat at Lakeview Park in Coventry, home to water voles in recent history, and involve local residents in caring long term for the enhanced habitat.
Project aims:
to increase wetland biodiversity; in particular habitat for water voles
to re-naturalise the river and the floodplain
to improve access to nature for local people encouraging greater understanding of wildlife
