Water Vole Action – Hartshill Sewage Treatment Works

To support the delivery of the fens, marsh, swamp and running water UK Habitat Action Plans and rivers, streams, marsh, fen, reedbed LBAP and UK Water Vole Species Action Plan by conducting hydro – ecological habitat surveys at each site, researching opportunities to encourage riparian habitats and water vole colonisation at each site, managing the site to establish favourable vegetation conditions and educating key stakeholders in water vole ecology and management at the site.
