Water Voles

Working in Weardale and Teesdale, Durham Wildlife Trust is implementing a scheme to safeguard two clusters of water vole populations. The project involves liaison with landowners and river users to raise awareness of water voles and generate support and sympathy for conservation activities habitat creation and management and dissemination of information to the wider community.
