Waterhead Parish Church – New kitchenette

The applicant have an ongoing project of hospitality. In this phase, they aim to create links with the three large Warden-Care flats near the Church, to encourage mixing and socialising, and to stop loneliness.
To that end, they will install a kitchenette in the Church
(Part of) the construction cost of a kitchenette in the south-west corner of the Church.
Anecdotal evidence and extended discussion with the management of the three warden-care flats indicate much loneliness. They wish to encourage mixing and create social cohesion.
We also wish to create a facility enabling projects to “overflow” from the Hall into the Church.
