Waterlinks, The King Alfred Navigation

Waterlinks, King Alfred Navigation – This projects will restore historic navigations in a sustainable and environmental way, providing the means for everyone to enjoy travelling by water through a rural landscape between the towns of Bridgwater, Taunton, Langport and celebrates (King Alfred’s Sanctuary) at Athelney, which gave the restored navigation its name. The Kilng Alfred Navigation is a community led proposal to reinstate navigation along the rivers Parrett and Tone of the Somerset levels. The Somerset Waterways Development Trust represents the community in this proposal.
