Waterthorpe and Ochre Dyke, Sheffield - Wildflower Corridor (50212/D)

The project aim is to establish a wildflower corridor extending from Thorpe Green through the Waterthorpe Open Space, connecting with the established ancient meadow at crystal peaks and extending to the River Rother along the Ochre Dyke corridor. A programme of community action activities with volunteers and local school children will aim to expand the existing management regime improving and spreading biodiversity and promoting a sense of stewardship. The Trust grant will contribute towards the wildlife corridor.
