Wellington Union Free Church Hall, Telford – Refurbishment (4858/D)

The project is for the large hall at the rear of the church. It has been without major refurbishment or repair for many years. The wooden windows and fire escape door are very old, single-glazed and in poor condition. The general state of the room is shabby, cold and gloomy and the project aims to replace the windows and fire exit door, lower the ceiling and insulate it, replace the lighting, re-plaster the damaged interior wall, then redecorate the entire room including re-treating the floor. Finally we will look to restore worn, and replace broken fixtures, fittings and furniture. The Trust grant will contribute towards the refurbishment.
