Welllington Road WIAT

Wellington Road is a small woodland adjacent to an industrial estate and main road into Aberdeen and is owned by Aberdeen City Council.
Work already carried out has involved creating paths and opening up of the woodland through thinning the tree cover. The work has been carried out by contractors, supervised by Aberdeen City Council and funded through the Woods in and around Towns (WIAT) initiative.
The final phase of the project required to complete the works to a high standard, involves the rebuilding of the wall heads. The work entails repairing around 10 meters of walling. The work will be carried out by Aberdeen Greenspace volunteers.
This will ensure that the project is well presented and finished to a high standard.
